DnD was about to die in the late 90's

Postby Needles » Mon Mar 24, 2008 5:58 pm

This is an article on what Ryan S. Dancey thought was the reasons why DnD almost died in the late 90's. He comes up with the idea that TSR did not listen to their customers and was oblivious to their customer's thoughts. The company was deaf, and the way to fix things was to listen to the customer base.

Wasn’t there a Dancey that ran living city to the ground, or is this another Dancey? :P
There are lies, damned lies and statistics.

First God created idiots, he was just getting started, then he created Wizards of the Coast 4e Dnd.

It's the same I think. That's Rene's favorite person in the world.
Rene could write you a book of nothing but love for that guy.

Nobody's perfect... well, there was this one guy, but we killed him.
