What about all the upgrades to the town? We spent a lot of time upgrading Farshore.

Some of the stuff we did

Special weapons that bypass DR for militia
Upgraded smithy for better armor
Maxed out militia recruits for the town
almost maxed out level of the militia. I think we got them up to 3rd level

Moat and stone walls around town
sand bars in harbor
unhallowed harbor and hallowed graveyard(provides moral bonus to militia)

What we know of attackers
5 ships
leader is lamorian 1/2 fiend
2 flights of Vrocks will attack

We got the militia to 4th level. They could have maxed out at 5th level warriors.

Don't forget: Lavinia Vanderborren for MAYOR. Vote LAVINIA-she cares more about the people than her pocketbook.

As smart as we are, Greg can still find ways to out-maneuver us. We are mostly expecting an amphibious assault-which the Crimson Fleet needs to do if they wish to take the colony. I am expecing an aerial assualt-the vrocks will certainly carry in a few heavy hitters and summon reinforcements before their dance begins. And the Pirates of the Crimson fleet can almost certainly deal with our "t-rex surprise."

The Pirates should bombard the town with long-range mortars before sending in an assault force. Guaranteed they will send their best hidey-sneakey scout in to check out our new defenses-and with their crystal ball, they could use that scout as an artillery spotter-the scout could correct the aim of those long range mortars and take out some of our defenses. We may need a plan to take the fight to them-I don't think the repairs to the "Sea Wyvrn" will be complete, and I don't have a QFT Boat, and I'm not sure if Dave ever completed his folding boat.

Striking our colors and faking our surrender might lure them in, but only if we detect that probable scout. I hope our "Great and Powerful Mage" can at least detect a Scrying censor, or hopefully find a way to make the whole town scrye-proof.

I'll post more ideas and scenarios as I think them up. If you think I'm giving Greg too many ideas already, tell me to quit posting them.

I don't think Greg hangs here.

I would say crimson fleet has a spy or 2 living in Farshore.

I think there will be a big assault from the land too. Who knows what allies they made on the Isle.

We need to make some ballista and catapults.

PJ do you have a list of the farshore militia and defenders?

I can bring minis that look identical so we can keep track of them easily,

Archers
Spear Men
Swordsmen

and any troops that the nobles houses may have.

maybe Greg would allows us to create the 4th level fighters so we can specialize there feats and stats.

The standard invasion formula is:
1) Sneak in special forces to screw things up
2) Aerial assualt
3) Artillery bombardment
4) Invasion
5) More artillery bombardment
6) Reinforcements

It's not going to be easy. How about those Umber-lites start praying for a storm to screw up the invasion fleet? If we capture more ships, would Capt. Pyro become Commodore Pyro?
