DragonCon 2008

Postby thetrickygnome » Sun Jun 08, 2008 7:04 pm

First off are any of my local friends going?
Secondly, I went to what I think is the official site and I didn't see anything
listed as a D&D schedule. Has anyone else looked into this? Just curious. If
so, can you put a link here for it.

Yeah, as it turns out one of my planned gatherings with my superhero buddies from the League
did not work out because I got beat on seniority at work on the dates in question. However, some
of them will be going to DragonCon although not as large a group as normal and I definitely want
to try to go. I have a sister that lives in Alpharetta GA and she says her work place is not far from
the con. In years past she literally worked across the street from the con and would have lunch and
look at all the people in costume with her friends from her law office balcony.

What I'm looking for is the gaming schedule. My hope is to take one or two days to game and the
other one or two days to hang with my League buddies. I might also take an extra vacation day to
visit my sister, brother in law and their kids. It's been at least 15 years or so since I've been to
Atlanta. If I find out anything I'll let you know. I spoke to Ralph, The Godfather of DnD in Miami, and Monica and they are interested in
going as well.
