ORIGINS GAME SCHEDULE (BALANCED)

Postby Ozymandius » Thu May 17, 2007 12:52 pm

While Ralph, The Godfather of DnD in Miami, is fond of playing CORE Living Greyhawk modules at Origins I don't plan to waste my time doing that. Instead Most of my time will be sucked up by Living Arcanis (6 Slots), Blackmoor (2 Slots) and Living Greyhawk (2 Slots).

Ralph, The Godfather of DnD in Miami,, I can't believe you. You don't participate in the LARP for Living Arcanis? Guess that "rollplaying" is too much for you at Origins. My schedule is currently maxed out to get the critical Living Arcanis plot points, the Battle Interactive, the Social Interactive and the Dungeon Delve.

On the Living Greyhawk side I'm only here for two things. The Living Greyhawk "Underdark" Special and the Undermountain Mini-Series they are starting.

Because I am unable to participate in most of the Blackmoor modules I am going to be participating in the OPEN FIESTA: BLACKMOOR slot as a judge and will be offering the following modules for play:

Shadow in the Dark (Mine): Thursday
Riddles and Crossroads (Ramon's): Friday
The Brass Managerie (Dan and Dave's): Saturday

Slot 1: LA-HP4-04 (6598) 08:00-12:45
Slot 2: LA-HP4-05 (6601) 13:00-16:45
Slot 3: LA-HP4-06 (6604) 19:00-22:45

OPEN FIESTA: BLACKMOOR JUDGE

Slot 4: CORS7-02 (6168) 8:00-12:45
Slot 5: DAB053 (6254) 13:00-16:45
Slot 6: Undermountain Adventures (7017) 19:00-23:45

OPEN FIESTA: BLACKMOOR JUDGE

Slot 7: LA-SP5-10, DELVE (6625)
Slot 8: LABI-Serpents and Saviors (6596) 13:00-20:45
Slot 9: LARP-Tarnished (6607) 19:00-02:45

OPEN FIESTA: BLACKMOOR JUDGE

Slot 10: DAB052 (6252) 08:00-11:45

I dont think we will make 10th but I have a feeling most of us will be 8th or so by the time we get up there

Ok random mod used for exp .. so this is what we are looking at (Staring at 5th level because thats where we are now)

APL 5 1,000
APL 7 1,250
APL 9 1,500
APL 11 1,750

So with full tables, but we have some low level player so we will end up playing equal apl

6th level.......15k - 5 mods at APL 5 (4 at 7)
7th level.......21k - 4 mods at APL 7
8th level.......28k - 4 mods at APL 9 (5 at APL 7)
9th level.......36k - 5 mods at APL 9
10th level.......45k - 5 mods at APL 11 (6 mods at APL 9)

So we are looking at needed 23 mods.. with some mods like Carnival of Swords we can cut that down maybe by 3 mods...

that still leaves 20 mods to do in 2.5 months.. I can see u getting to 8th though 13 mods (10 with Carnival and other printed mods)

Also I hear that Shadows of a Forsaken Past as STUPID exp.. that may (if what I heard is right) cut 4 mods out of the equasion.

We just need someone willing to eat it and run it for us.... its a BIG adventure BTW.. LIKE HUGE

I agree with all of you... isn't that ironic.

Ok.. Peter, here is the slot we should take off to hang out together:

Wednesday Night when we arrive: (we should go grab something to eat all of us together).

As for games eating into the Open Fiesta Slot. I am of the opinion that the ONLY game I will sacrifice during that time is any LA events that run into it. I am ther to play the LA Social and Battle Interactives. The important thing to realize here is that as gamers, we long to feel important in the games that we play. Like we are part of this fantastic world that is created for our enjoyment (after all, that is why the games should be created). Well, nothing does this better than the LA Social Interactive so I MUST agree with PJ on this one Ralph, The Godfather of DnD in Miami,. If the LA Social runs into the open fiesta, it is WAY worth it!

That being said, the rest of my slots are likely to be spent doing other specials (specifically Blackmoor Specials and anything that is specifically unique to Origins). This MIGHT include an LG event, but to be honest with you, I don't know if I am going to be able to play LG.

I plan on running my Faerie story. I don't know how often or when, but I know that Riddles and Crossroads will be Priority one after the LA Battle and Social interactives. I want to play the Origins special Blackmoor so I can run it down here at the Summoning.

So my schedule will look something like this

LA LARP (one slot but 2 rounds worth of play that eats into Open Fiesta)
LA BI (two slots cause its two rounder)
LG Core Special (one slot)
Blackmoor Special (one slot)
Blackmoor Judging-Rest of Slots

Open Fiesta Discussion:

Its important to note as representatives from the PoU we should put together a list of modules and ARs together and order them on the RPGA website. Pending Triad approval, we can run Open Fiesta PoU modules there. We should offer one night were we all run events and then we get those people to run events for us as well. This evens out the responsibility of running, shows good faith from us in Miami, AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, IT PROVIDES US WITH A VENUE TO PROMOTE WIPOU AND THE SUMMONING!!!

So I think we should organize this. Your thoughts?

Warm Regards,

Ramon Guillen

lets see, i am a little in to 7th (more like 110 in to 7th). I am hoping to crack out these mods on sunday to get me as close to 10 as possibe (Carnaval and the other Book mods). As for gamming, i am mostly going for the LA, which a small chance of getting my cleric of meridoc for blackmoor playing (yet i still have no XP or Certs from a certain mod that Ralph, The Godfather of DnD in Miami, ran for us that was for Clearwater). Beyond that, i will mostly look to the GW stuff and anything i think would be cool for sunday...

Mario you will wait for the certificates on Episode 52 until the certificate pack becomes available. The same is pending for Ralph, The Godfather of DnD in Miami, as well...

I ditched on my schedule that was above.

Right now I am only playing the Dungeon Delve, the Battle Interative, the Social Interactive, the Core Special, the Undermountain Special, Renewal, The Brass Menagerie.

That's it, rest of the time I'm going to be over at the Blackmoor station living it up with Jarad and some of the other Plot Coordinators.
