Well there's a bit of sanity. Yes, that cup would not speak well of us.
Regional unity may be a whole shitload of wishful thinking but we'd
be doing a disservice to the playerbase if we didn't keep trying.
And PJ, yeah, I'm uptight. I had an interesting conference call yester-
day with Greg and Ramon. Afterwards I came to a few conclusions:
1) Greg, despite his arrogant nature, is very level-headed about the
cons planned in Miami for the rest of the year. I get the sense that his
determination and ability to detach himself from the stupid drama that
seeps into and gets in the way of having successful gaming is a HUGE
benefit to us. Like I said, sometimes it's all about gettign the job done
and screw the drama. I even went so far as to say that almost at
peace with his arrogance -they found that rather funny.
2) Ramon is a bit of loose cannon. IMHO, he is still consumed by the
stupid drama of the past. He is WAY too emotional and can't seem to
seperate his personal feelings from what needs to be done. He has a
right to help since he is funding the cons and I would like him to help
because he is good at organizing but in the emotional state he was in
yesterday, I'd rather deal with Greg, you, or Ralph, The Godfather of DnD in Miami, regarding WiPoU.
I think it would be less stressful for me and I already have mixed
feeling about WiPoU as it is in terms of the depth of my involvement.
I heard great things about your maps for the con PJ so I am anxious
to see asample. I think that if I sent them to Michael and Bill and they
are as good as I heard, it would do alot to show how important this is
to us and how hard you guys are going at the task. Keep up the good
