For my first LA BI, it was a fantastic experience. All that I could think about was how would they correlating all these players to tables for the BI, were the heck were they going to place so many people. It was definitely the biggest amount of players I have seen to participate in a BI. I was even more amazed to here that there were players that had above 18 level characters. My table consisted of Peter, Adolfo, Mario, Maria , Nice, Richard and myself. Adolfo took home the prize for most gallant. He put his passion before reasoning. It was awesome. The gold and XP at the end was tremendous. The LA Marketplace was of course one of mine most superb moment, I finally got my monk‘s AC higher. Also, I got to play some out of regions LG mods. The only down side, is that there is so much you would want to do and experience, but just not enough time. I had a great time at Origins and the company of friends was wonderful.
Yep it was a LOT of fun!
Thats one the one thing I love and hate about Origins.. there is so much to do, so many games, so many things to see...
BTW: This was a small Origins, it always suffers when its on the 4th of july, if you want an idea of how big its going to be next year, two hotels are sold out.. yes already.
I fully expect us to brake more records next year, (we broke the record for the largest single event at Origins with the BI, 310 people....)
Also you need to take a night off of LG next time... I want to show you some real cool stuff that takes place at the con after dark....
