DnD was about to die in the late 90's

This is an article on what Ryan S. Dancey thought was the reasons why DnD almost died in the late 90's. He comes up with the idea that TSR did not listen to their customers and was oblivious to their customer's thoughts. The company was deaf, and the way to fix things was to listen to the customer base.
