7th level spells

Postby grey » Thu May 27, 2004 2:05 am

Ok so I get 2 new spells now that I'm 14th.
And I have a plethora to choose from.
My top picks is.

Waves of Exhaustion - This one combined with Mastery of shaping will screw the enemies. And the no save is nice. -6 to strength and dex + 1/2 move hurts.

I'm also considering these others:
mordenkainen's sword
finger of death
reverse gravity

i'm a conjurer so i can't do illusion or enchantment spells.

At least your playing man.

mordenkainen's sword: They keep changing this spell. It is nice in that it is a spell you cast then cast other spells while it does its work. The damage is not awsome per round but it is a fun spell. It turns you into a fighter for a change.

finger of death: The downside is that it has a fort save. Most creatures you will fight will have a fort save. If you can figure out which is the wizard or abberation and which is the magical beast or fighting thingy, your set.

reverse gravity: baisicly, no save, didn't you say something about taking on spell that has no save. A cheesy DM might say that he makes his reflex save, grabs onto the grass, climbs out of the spells range to get out of the area of effect. However, that is a cheesy DM. I like this one the most. It has combat over all over it.
There are lies, damned lies and statistics.

First God created idiots, he was just getting started, then he created Wizards of the Coast 4e Dnd.

Can I say you SUCK, I've never played any D&D character higher than 10th. :(

But, congrats at the same time. :)

No question REVERSE GRAVITY plus a devious mind = Devestation of your foes. :)

Albert...what are the other two that you have?

Albert,

Do you have Summon 7, and Lim Wish as your two spells from 13th?

Please look at Force Cage (pricey component).

Please look at Pris Spray, it is a combat buster.

reverse grav makes em float in the air when it reaches its maximum and they lose there dex (they get no reflex save). so you can just fireball em to hell. thats my understanding of the spell.
