Possible Summoning Events?

Postby chainsaw_derelct » Thu Aug 31, 2006 10:31 pm

Hey all...

Considering running some of the following based on some proper public opinion. Let me know what you'd be willing to show up and play to pay.

Private Message me if you're registering and voted for an event, that way I can begin working with the event coordinators. Voting will be closed @ the end of Oct and I'll plan my event from there.

Cheers,
-Rainier

If I can get enough people confirmed for the Robo-Rally, I could try and run it on the other day. Most of the the RPGs that I've offered are all day affairs... Or at least, I think they will be. :o

FYI: Volunteered / Confirmed to run

Civil War: Interlude

A personally designed scenario using the Classic Marvel Super Heroes system (circa 1989). The players are a group of mild-mannered superhumans who've banded together to fight crime in the crime-riddled streets of Harlem. With the recent events in Stamford, Connecticut the team finds their very allegiances and trust tested. Will they join Iron Man and Spider-Man in complying with the Mandatory Registration of all superheroes or will they join the ranks of Captain America, Daredevil and others? Only the players can decide...

It would be great if I knew the dates for the Summoning.

8th, 9th and 10th of December. FYI, I'm trying to post info on my site, as the info on both the summoningcon.com & warhorn site are a bit... lackluster.

Personally I'd like to see more larping and depending on turnout i'd like to set aside some space if we can manage it for a larp.

but i don't have any information on a larp yet.

Running a club takes 2 things.

1. Time
2. Effort

Unfortunately I have neither the time nor can i put any effort into running a club.
If we want to see a club someone is going to have to step up and take charge.

You want someone to help herd kittens? I'm here. Willing to help, give the effort, etc...

After the 16th of Sept I will have more time. Interested in getting together and putting some meat to this? My biggest problem is finding gamers... Even if it's just a monthly meet-up to get some gaming on, I'm sure we can do it!

Last time a LARP was attempted at the Summoning (well the kiddie summoning) it was a dismal failure. If a LARP is wanted, players better make their voices heard.
