Front page is getting big again

Postby grey » Tue Feb 24, 2009 3:19 pm

The front page is getting big again.
The site has the capability for sub forums.
I'm thinking I should move all the 3.5 rpga games to a 3.5 forum
and put any new rpga 4.0 compaigns in that forum.

Maybe home games in their own sub forums. Rather than on the front page.

What do you guys think?

Why not make a new space called "Dead Campaigns" and put all the dead former Living Campaigns and independents there and leave the "Living Campaigns" area with the going ones.

Could care less with the home games.

I kind of agree with PJ. The campaigns that are done and over with or barely active should IMHO
have their own subsection. No disrespect to the campaigns but it's just like everything else - as
something new comes out, it supplants the old. So while we should not get rid of the old campaigns
that are no longer active, what is current should take center stage or what is being actively played.
Example - the Marvel game that Ralph, The Godfather of DnD in Miami, started up. It is an old game but it has interest so it's own
section was a good idea. Campaigns like Legend of the Shining Jewel or others that barely register a
blip on the gaming radar down here can be moved to a subsection ( no disrespect to that campaign
but it was merely an example ).

I love what you just said Rene by starting with, "No disrespect..."

Let me try it out.

"No disrespect...but you fucking suck. No Disrespect."

Hell yeah, it works!

Because whatever comes after, "No Disrespect..." is certainly going to disrespect someone! Hell yeah.

Very true PJ. That's like saying... I'm gonna punch you in the nuts. Don't take it personally. Don't worry we are still friends. But get ready for the pain bitch.

Just because a campaign is not played or is not popular in one area does not mean it is a bad
campaign. That was the point I was trying to make.

However, the truth is that certain campaings that appear on this forum are very inactive in our
area - that is the truth regardless of how it might make someone who likes that campaign feel.
So as I said before, no disrespect but if it's not really on the radar then why put it before the
games that are.

And for the record PJ, if I had a dollar for every time I've wanted to punch you in the nuts, it would
make the Powerball lottery look like spare change. ;) ( don't take it seriously - I'm just messing with
you. )

And Albert, no direspect to you but you cannot have my hairy legs no matter how often you
phantasize about them. ;)

Wow, that would be a really big lottery since no one could collect on it because, no disrespect, I don't think anybody would stand a chance except maybe Marine Rob, Dave or Duane; no disrespect Rene.
