E-mail notification

Postby chainsaw_derelct » Tue Feb 05, 2008 9:28 am

I don't know if this is happening to everyone else, but since the upgrade all of the e-mails from the board have been bouncing out to Yahoo's Spam Filters. Is there any chance that the e-mail name for the reply can be the same as the descriptor? Previously they were coming in from "webmaster@livingcity.net", now they seem to be coming from "username" <admin@livingcity.net>. Semantic difference but Yahoo seems to be a bit thick on registering spam. :6

Thanks!

I'll look into it. not sure if that's changeable though.
if anything click on the not spam button in yahoo to stop it from doing that.
I had that issue recently with yahoo. certain things that were fine were suddenly dumping into the bulk folder.
i had to not spam a few things.

Looking at the e-mail it comes to "username" <emailaddress> from Admin@livingcity.net

I've been trying to "train" Yahoo, but that's like teaching a dead horse new tricks while beating it... :-<
