Re: Truth is ugly painful and brutal

 The truth is that there is no bravery left in men. Our soldiers go off to die like lambs to the slaughter, as will the poor Iraquis, all because we fail to have the balls to murder. You see it is much easier to drape oneself in a flag and ask thousands of men to die for a cause than to just ...

So am I the only one here looking forward to D&D 3.5?

Just curious. Personally, I'm liking what I'm hearing so far. Especially the modifications to the DR rules. The whole point of DR was to allow people a chance to harm creatures without needing a weapon with a certain + bonus. But when you have a creature with a DR 50/+3, it may as WELL be the way it...

Coincidentally enough, I had a similar idea which I submitted to the WoTC setting search, though it took place in the Middle Ages (I had a later idea about setting it in antideluvian Earth, before the Flood and having the Nephilim among other things running around, but by then it was too late). Glad...

if thats the case then why do people eat deer, rabbit,Lammmb chops, sqwerals, cats, dogs, ect ect ect.....oh ya and my flying monkeys too..... The question isn't why there're people who eat them, but why there're people who don't eat them, while eating others. The people that eat them just don't giv...

Re: My 2 cents

I'm basically a secular humanist and a political moderate (If anything, I'm a civil libertarian), and I'm inclined to agree. Most of the people who have approached me to speak about their faith have generally been willing to listen to my point of view as well. If I want people to respect my thought...

I bet the same fans would be HOWLING in protest if the prices of these toys were raised in order to pay for those tariffs ("They raised the price point by 10%? NOOOOO JUSTICE!").Fortunately that won't happen, since the article says they've since lifted the Duties. But they'll get back all that extra...

WTF? ROTFLMAO!!!

Hmm. do they have a picture of Cain braining Abel over the head with a rock? That'd be a disturbing thing to see. One Lego figure brutally murdering another.

Well, my distrust of the christian and right-winged are more from personal experience than as a gamer, though being one has not helped. And using the "tolkein card" is silly, because he wasn't shoving God down anyone's throat with his books, and if he was preachy, it doesn't show in his pre/triolog...

Well, you can say he's a good leader, but I doubt he could even lead a dog on a leash. But, when you have money, you don't need amy other redeamable skills. Tell that to the military. They love him. I don't see how anyone can argue he HASN'T been a leader, though. What has he done that's been tepid...

Well neither am I, but I could not afford a $41 burger. SO, when I'm wealthy, I'll tour NYC on the "decandent path" :) Eh, I just don't see the big deal. So what if there's a $41 burger? Not like my life is somehow made worse cause I can't afford it on a regular basis. I'm very happy with my $2 dou...

Evil "genius"? I was reffering to G.W.Bush...never shall those two things (genius and G. Bush) meet in the same place/time/plane. Ah. President Bush is an idiot. If so, then what does that make James Carville and <a href="http://images2.fotki....

Re: who cares

None of it matters. Democrats, Republicans , its all a political WWE. They are all in on the game. Both sides are winning the war in turning this country of once proud individualists into mindless drones of fashion and fad. We live life through reality TV. We marvel at how resilient people are when...

Thanks for the picture of the frat boys...it sums up what most of us feel, and made me laugh my arse off. :) Yeah. Love how the guys got sh*t coming out of both his mouth and nose. Best part is, the guy behind him looks like he's about to spew, too! To bad there isn't a picture of that. As for your...

Well, there IS an upside to this, believe it or not. Hopefully the skirmish/mass battle rules will be good. If they are, then I'll buy them. As for the upside? Well, who ever said you had to use WoTC produced miniatures to play? Me, I'll be using Reaper and/or Games Workshop miniatures, instead. Got...
